Michael Marder é profesor investigador Ikerbasque de Filosofía na Universidade do País Vasco en Vitoria-Gasteiz. É autor dos libros The Event of the Thing: Derrida’s Post-Deconstructive Realism (University of Toronto Press, 2009), Groundless Existence: The Political Ontology of Carl Schmitt (Continuum, 2010) e Plant-Thinking: A Philosophy of Vegetal Life (Columbia University Press, 2013). En 2014, publicou un ensaio sobre a fenomenoloxía crítica titulado Phenomena-Critique-Logos: The Project of Critical Phenomenology (Rowman & Littlefield).
